In February, one of our favourite couples finally got married! It was a fantastic day filled with laughter and tears (and more laughter!) and a whole lotta sunshine! Can’t beat a February wedding in Victoria!

These fabulous new realtors on the Victoria Real Estate scene are a force to be reckoned with! They are smart, professional and pretty gorgeous too huh? With a team name like Price/Pleasants-who wouldn’t want to hire these two? Look out Victoria!
Well, the first Sexy in the City of 2010 was an event to say the least!! We had a few past clients and a bunch of fabulous ladies who were new to the whole experience! We have revamped the event this year in order to spend more time with each of you doing what we do best-creating more gorgeous images for you! It was a huge success and it will allow us to run this event more often! It took place during a beautiful Saturday afternoon in the penthouse of the stunning Oswego Hotel. One the greatest benefits of the new format was having beautiful natural light in which to photograph the gorgeous ladies! Not only that, we got to take advantage of the amazing wrap around deck of the penthouse suite with breathtaking views of the city and the ocean! It made for some stunning photography! Some of ladies were brave enough (after a few glasses of Italian pink champagne!!) to get out on the deck in the lingerie and one even got out there nude! (you know who you are!! Be proud!!) We had more amazing cheese platters from Charelli’s Deli, champagne and wine and amazing hair and makeup by Sharon Rai. www.sharonrai.com

Thanks to our dashing and talented web designer, Ryan Leinweber of Honeycomb Webworks, we had the pleasure of photographing the Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce -Prodigy Group Committee members for their new website.
The Prodigy Group is a diverse network of emerging professionals (under 40), who reside in the Greater Victoria Area. They provide their members the opportunity to connect with likeminded individuals and to affect positive change in Victoria.

We were running late to get to this shoot since our shoot down the street was a little behind schedule…I ran in to greet Heidi, the spa’s fabulous owner. She was of course understanding and led me upstairs so I could get to work while Anna parked the car. I walked upstairs to where the models were waiting for me. I came around the corner and all but ran into one of my oldest childhood friends-who was to be our male model for the day! Only in Victoria…
It was a great chance to catch up and shoot some fantastic new images for the spa!

Farrah and the Reid family have been clients of ours for many years. We have photographed Farrah and her siblings as high school graduates, Mom and daughter have come to 2 of our Sexy and the City events, we have photographed business portraits for both Farrah and her mom and now, we get tobe there for the wedding of Farrah to her high school sweetheart Michael. We’ve been busy over at BK Studios in 2010! We’ve changed our name from Bullock & Kirstein Photography to BK Studios Designer Photography and we’ve moved from our Fort St. location to our fabulous new digs at 1616 Redfern Street!
